Well last week was our last week in YWAM TJ, I had several going away parties, the first one was precious it was organized by my friends from Colonia Antorcha Campesina, the community where I've been working the past year. Last year around May a couple of friends and I started a reading and math circle with 11 kids, this year we have over 75 kids, and more than 10 moms who attend our classes twice a week. The moms planned a going away party, they made food, and brought cake for the kids, susie made a going away video that made my cry like crazy. The kids made several going away gifts and cards. This truly blessed and touched my heart.
On wednesday the base organized a birthday/good bye party for Chad and I, I danced till I could move, They gave us a really nice picture frame where good wishes and blessings were written around it. That touched my heart too!!
That nightwe finished packing until 2:30 am, after that we headed to playas, we had tacos, yes tacos at 3 am. Then we stayed at my moms. Chad moved all of our stuff to the states, while I visited at my moms. I had the opportunity of watching the world cup game Mexico vs. France with my nephews, It was wonderful Mexico won 2-0, I taught my nephew Diego how to play Rummy he loves playing it too!!
Friday spent the whole day with my handsome nephews and saw Toy story 3, It was worth it standing in line for a whole hour. After that I had a ladies night with childhood friends, got all dressed up and had some Tamarind Martinis, very tasty.
Saturday went to a beautiful wedding Kam and Dia tied the knot, and the lovely Chad Seiler officiated the ceremony.
Sunday, we moved. Pete & Teri helped us out a lot!!! we moved all of our stuff in 1 hour, and every fit in their truck, Uhaul trail and our honda accord, it was great. There was a lot of traffic, so we got home a little before 6 pm. Dominic came to visit us and had a little birthday celebration, Chad got to open his birthday gifts and ate a delicious fluffy yellow cake with chocolate icing.
Today was our first week out of the mexican mission field. Ive been praying a lot about what God wants us to do on this next step, please keep us in your prayers.
One of the things that has been a lot on my mind lately is embroidery, and aprons, mixing beautiful mexican embroidery with vintage aprons. Right now IM just looking at patterns I can transfer. So In a few days Ill show you what im up to.
for now Im crocheting a blanket for baby Anthony, I hope I can finish it before he gets here.

New direction.
So a lot has been going on in my life the past 4 months since I wrote on this neglected blog. I did go to Haiti, I served in St. Marc, around 3 weeks. I got to experience different emotions as I worked in a place where for the first time in my life I didn't speak the language, where I looked totally different from anybody else and also stood out like a sore thumb, kids in the streets kept yelling at me as I walked in the streets of St. Marc, Blanc! Blanc! Wow, that was a first.
I think I gained a greater respect for my country and its people, and grew more in love with it. I saw humanities best and worst in just one day.
Loved visiting also Santo Domingo, I was very happy and relieved when I visited there, made some friends everywhere I went, at the salon, at the supermarket, and at the bank, yes this was all in one day. I really hope to visit again.
I lost my flight to San Diego, because it was raining in Miami and we left late, had a theatrical meltdown in LAX, then like always, my sweet charming prince came to save the day, by the time that I was trying to get my luggage situation figured out, (AA misplaced my luggage) Chad was in LAX, looking great and smelling wonderful. I think that is the longest traveling time to get to my husband, I left on a Tuesday morning and saw my husband Friday night. If wouldn't have picked me up from LAX, I would have seen him until saturday noon. So now you could have imagined my reaction at LAX when the client service clerk told me that I would have to take the saturday morning flight. Yes, I yelled and cried and startled a few people.
Two weeks later I took a photography seminar, where I learned a lot of cool things and really seeking beauty in daily life situations. I've also been on a lot of house builds.
Five years ago when I met Chad we were both on the crossroads in our lives, in our owns separate way had a calling to missions in Mexico, we really didn't know how or where but we felt that strong call to go, and do something. You might think that our relationship started on love at first sight basis, actually we didn't like each other.
Our first conversations were about serving God in Mexico, and later on we fell madly deeply in love. So since the beginning Ive had in my mind, going back to Azusa, going where he is going. Supporting him in every step of the way, so my next blog entries are going to be about my life in U.S.A. so please bare with me, this is my first time living in the States, and I hope that you can walk with me as I learn how to live outside of YWAM, outside of Mexico, and far away from my family and my Tijuana.
This past week I've been packing and trying to get all my things together for the great move that we have been dreading or waiting for the past 5 years. To all of his family, yes Chad is going back to school just like we have said from the start. To our friends and family, thank you for supporting us every step of the way. Thank you guys for helping us move 8 times in these past 4 years of marriage.
I'm sad to leave my country and my family, but then again 5 years ago a young man did the same and God blessed us both greatly for doing it.
